Produktif studio de design

Team

Located in New York City and Montreal, the PRODUKTIF design studio's innovations in ecological housing and green technologies will be showcased as of summer 2009 with a knowledge-based project called Maison Productive House (MpH), a 12,000 sq. ft. residential and mixed-use pilot project, near downtown Montreal. The highest standards in green construction are incorporated in the project.

PRODUKTIF design studio’s principal designers:

Rune Kongshaug, designer (M.Arch)

Rune has 12 years of experience in design, construction, renovation, urban renewal and urban agriculture. He is interested in the provision of affordable, sustainable popular housing, mixed use, community-based urban design projects, and the linkages between food production, living systems and responsible design. Rune holds a Masters degree in architecture from McGill University and spends his time between New York City and Montreal.

Gwenhael Lemarchand, Certified Architect from France

Gwenhael completed his architectural studies working on the Productive House during its final stages of construction. Gwenhael is the most recent addition to our team.
Gwenhael is interested in social and ecological architecture. His talents span the technical and artistic realms of architecture, and international travel has made him an astute observer of various design and construction practices. He works full time on replicating "produktif" systems in new projects. He also is dedicated to the good functioning of the Productive House gardens.

Vincent Vandenbrouck, industrial designer

Vincent is a designer with expertise in environmental projects. Vincent holds a Masters in industrial design (École Nationale Supérieure de Création Industrielle à Paris) and a Bachelor in electrical engineering.  In addition to three years as the head of product design for the ecodesign and sustainable development consultant firm O2 France, Vincent has also spent many years as a successful independent designer, his clients including Louis Vuitton and EDF.
